Balance of life
They say that for every death there is a birth. Well 10/13/09 my grandmother passed and on 10/19/09 my daughter was born. 4/7/10 my great grandfather passed and right after that my co-worker comes and tells me that her daughter went to the doctor and is dialated. The balance of life. One thing that I try not to have in my life is regret. And I know that this is going to sound insignificant but the one thing that I wanted was a picture of Arden and my great-grandpa to have a picture together. Well when he was up here at my moms house that was the one thing that I did not get done. And now I wish I had that. Not so much the picture but to know more about him and his life. I would only see him once every couple years and I hardly new him. Those last four words were so hard to type because he is family i should know him. We have a client at my job who is 78 years old. I sat and talked with him and I know where that client was when Martin Luther King Jr was shot and when Kennedy was shot and had him explain to me what exactly water gate was. And I dont know about my own flesh and blood?! I feel like such a horrible person. I feel that everyone should know their family and where they come from and what some of them did good or bad. Just to know their roots. I do know that he was a good person. He had to have been or why else would God put him in my life? I know who is in my life for good reasons and not so good reasons. He put people in all our lives for these reason and we can learn from all of them; we just have to put in the work to find the lesson that God wants us to know. I know that I will have to remember that life is precious. That is such a cliche but at the same time people only really notice is when tragedy happens. Anyway, im gettin off this blog right now. Nite Nite.
